Section 30 Workshop

This workshop has an orientation on UI benefits while attending training. Under Section 30 of the Massachusetts Unemployment Insurance Law, you can waive the active work search requirement and still receive UI benefit checks in order to attend training for re-employment. For more information on this law, please go to the Massachusetts Department of Workforce Development web page and attend the workshop.

In addition to discussing section 30 in detail, a variety of financial aid sources for re-training will be discussed, as well as tips on how to pick the right training program for your career needs (and apply for it successfully!).
