Keyboarding Basics

Possessing good typing skills is becoming an essential skill today. This workshop will test your skills and teach you the basics for proper keyboarding. Learn the best way to remove bad typing habits and start typing faster than you could ever imagine.

Topics covered include:

• History of typing
• Qwerty keyboard
• Home Keys
• A review of typing tutors
• Online resources to improve your typing
• A test of your words per minute (wpm)

Advanced typists can also attend this workshop to certify their typing speed or as a refresher course. Customers are encouraged to take this workshop numerous times to increase their typing speed.

There is no prerequisite for this workshop.
