Computer Workshop Description

E-Mail Basics

A review of the basic features of sending and receiving e-mail messages. This workshop is intended for new user to e-mail or those wishing a refresher course.

Topics covered include:

• Creating a new web mail account
• Differences in webmail services of Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail.
• Sending and receiving messages
• Sending attachments, such as resumes or pictures
• Recognizing Junk mail
• Creating folder and organizing message
• Contacts

Customers are encouraged to come to a Practice Lab and create a new e-mail account before attending this workshop.

There are no prerequisites for this workshop.
