Getting Started / How to Join the Career Center
It's easy to become a member, just come in and see someone at the front desk or call 978-458-2503, and they'll schedule you for a Career Center Seminar. This 2½ hour session will review all the resources and services we have to offer and how to access them. At that time, you'll receive a membership card, which you should bring with you in future visits to gain access to all of our services. If you come in person to schedule, you will receive a one day visitor pass which will give you the opportunity to go up to the resource room and look around, use the computer lab to get started on your internet job search or check out our resource library for books and literature which can also get you started.
What you will need
Just bring the latest copy of your resume. You will be filling out a membership form and working on a Career Action Plan (CAP) that will help you in your job search. After the seminar, if you have a resume you can receive an appointment to meet with staff at a later date who will discuss your work history, reivew your resume and suggest the next steps. For those individuals that do not have a resume we can sign you up for resume writing workshop.
