Getting Started / How to Join the Career Center

It's easy to become a member, just come in and see someone at the front desk or call 978-458-2503, and they'll schedule you for a Career Center Seminar. This 1½ hour session will review all the resources and services we have to offer and how to access them. At that time, you'll receive a membership card, which you should bring with you in future visits to gain access to all of our services. If you come in person to schedule, you will receive a one day visitor pass which will give you the opportunity to go up to the resource room and look around, use the computer lab to get started on your internet job search or check out our resource library for books and literature which can also get you started.

What you will need

Just bring the latest copy of your resume and a pen. You'll be filling out a membership form and working on a Job Search Readiness Inventory that will help you to develop a plan of action. After the seminar you can sit down with a Job Specialist who will collect your work history, review your resume, and suggest the next steps.
