Employment Service Programs (ESP)

The Career Center of Lowell provides a full array of comprehensive employment and education services designed to assist clients receiving Transitional Assistance for Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC) to acquire the skills needed to obtain sustainable employment and achieve self-sufficiency.

Our Employment Ready, Employment Training and Education, and Employment Support Programs provide customers with the following:

• Individual Career Counseling and Career Planning Assistance
• Development of an Individual Employment Plan (IEP)
• Certified Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.) Training
• Extensive Job Search/Job Readiness Instruction
• Customized Job Development and Placement Assistance
• Support Services

*To obtain these services, a customer must be receiving TAFDC benefits and be referred by a DTA Case Worker.
