Customer Service Specialist Training
The Customer Service Specialist Training will introduce students to the
workplace function of customer service and support. This 15 week training
program will focus on the customer service skills necessary to meet the demands
of customer contact in a variety of organizations. Through instructor-led and
hands-on computer sessions, students will refine and practice telephone
techniques, handle incoming and outgoing calls, customer orders, customer
problems and complaints.

Fundamentals of Customer Service and Support

Career Opportunities:
This program prepares students for service related employment including cashiers, salespersons, general office clerks, receptionists, information clerks, administrative assistants, secretaries and customer service representatives.
Support Services:
Upon placement into employment, participants are eligible to receive Post-Employment Services to include Clothing Allowances and Gas Allowances issued in the form of financial payments to enhance the participant’s job retention and self-sufficiency.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for Customer Service Specialist training program, you must currently be receiving TAFDC benefits from the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA).
